This course introduces students to programming and its relevance to lawyers. The course assumes no prior programming experiences. We will analyze legal documents, policy texts and consider the moral implications of generative AI in law.
Students will work in notebooks provided by their instructor-- in these they'll learn to read and modify code. The students will learn to represent text as data, analyze that data, and visualize the results.
